The saleswoman looks at me and says, "There are hints of strawberry, tulip and pink champagne in this fragrance. I look at the bottle. The label says "Paris" and the graphic underneath is the Eiffel Tower. Tell me now, how could I resist so many lovely factors?

Carnival

Tonight the trucks are parked out to set up for the yearly carnival. My friend and I went once. We went on one ride, ate one fried item, and then went to our favorite store. I bought a gold purse. It was one of the best days I've had in this strange little town.

Greenland

Busying my down-hours these days with knitting a heavy scarf and cap while dreaming of taking a trip to Greenland in August. To meet him.

If I dream hard enough and knit fast enough and produce something beautiful enough, then perhaps I create enough positive momentum in the air to produce a travel windfall.

If not, well, one still has to find hobbies and thoughts to occupy the time.
