Quantam physics. There are chain reactions we set off by every choice we make; by every action we take. Whole existences we cannot, and will not, ever see are affected by even the smallest of our movements. But sometimes, when we are awake enough and listening hard enough, we are privy to glimpses. These small sightings are what we commonly refer to as magic.

The great and the small. The miracles and the connections. It's all a matter of science. Inexplicable and wondrous, but science nonetheless.
